Luscious Green Wedding Inspiration

27 Dec

Green is often limited to the celebration of Christmas and St. Patrick’s Day. It’s hardly ever in the running when it comes to a wedding celebration, usually beaten by varying shades of pink, purple and blue. But I think it’s time we stopped overlooking green. I’ve seen a number of weddings lately where brides have embraced the colour green to give their wedding a natural, organic look. Lush green leaves and sprawling lawns remind us of fresh summer days and promote a sense of harmony and health.

I have definitely been a pink girl all my life, but the freshness and the vibrancy of this inspiration board has left my beloved pink a little by the wayside!

Hint: Think about creme or coral bridesmaids dresses to mirror the way a flower compliments foliage. Include foliage in the bouquets to give a green ‘pop’ of colour.

Have you thought about incorporating green into your colour scheme? Try out the scrapbook tool on the Modern Wedding website to create your own library of inspiration. Experiment with different greens and see what you can come up with!

That is GORGEOUS!!!!!!! I wouldn’t be able to eat the dinner – I would be busy looking at the fantastic tablescape and drooling on your centerpiece and jeweled napkins.!!!

I think this is the perfect color for a warm-weathered wedding. This just happens to be my favorite color. I find this green to be very calming.

LOVE that nail polish! I could totally imagine pairing that with green heels, and a white dress with a green sash.
