We have had an absolutely incredible week! Yesterday we were shooting couture pink gowns, created by some of Australia’s top fashion designers. What a treat! And it was all for an amazing cause: they’ll be auctioned off in September to raise money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
Imagine winning the auction… you get a gorgeous gown and you know that your money is going towards research and the prevention of breast cancer. What a beautiful gift – both to yourself and to the world. So here’s a sneaky little peak behind-the-scenes…
Special thanks to Libby Hayes and her team at the National Breast Cancer Foundation for being a constant inspiration.
And of course, our deepest gratitude to Eleanor Marr and the amazing team at David Jones for all their help in making this shoot possible, and to all the wonderful designers who created these pink masterpieces – Akira, Bianca Spender, Carla Zampatti, Easton Pearson, Kirrily Johnston, Lisa Ho and Trelise Cooper.
We had dreamt and hoped, but this shoot exceeded even our most magical musings, and we must thank all the incredibly talented people who so generously donated their valuable time for a great cause:
